How long will it take
Providing an accurate time estimate is challenging, especially in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has led to a significant backlog of cases in the courts. Consequently, even the issuance of straightforward documents is currently taking much longer than before.
Typically, matters can be resolved within 6 weeks from the receipt of your instructions to the receipt of payment from the other side, assuming it is not necessary to issue a claim. This timeline is based on the prompt entry of a default judgment and timely payment by the other side upon receipt.
However, numerous factors can influence this process, and any time estimate should be treated with caution.
